Malaika Africa is a small UK charity dedicated to providing education to those children living in Mirerani a poor mining community in Tanzania who otherwise can not afford it. Malaika Africa works with its partner company in Tanzania,Light in Africa(a registered NGO), to provide assistance with the building of schools and provision of school equipment to ensure that children in the most rural of communities have access to an education.
Malaika Africa relies on donations from individuals and companies to ensure we can achieve the above objectives.
Aims & Objectives
- Main Objective – to provide and advance education in Tanzania, through the provision of such assistance as determined appropriate by the Trustees.
- To build schools where required
- Provison of school furniture and equipment
- Supporting local community on teacher training courses where required
- Deliver a number of fundraising activities to support the above objectives stated in the Main Objective. Identify and recruit suitable sponsors who will assist in providing sustainable funds to meet the above objective.
